A Life in Light and Color
LEGACY IN COLOR honors the work and legacy of Patricia Krekorian, a celebrated plein air painter whose luminous canvases captured both the spirit of nature and the depth of human connection. Known for her expressive use of color, light, and detail, Patricia’s paintings tell a story of wonder, joy, and thoughtful observation.
Her work has been exhibited across the U.S., from the serene foothills of Colorado to quiet corners of New York. Patricia’s influence on the artistic community lives on—not only through her paintings but also through the students and fellow artists she mentored.
Her Journey as an Artist
Patricia earned her BFA from the University of Georgia and continued into their graduate painting program before studying under masters like Mark Daily and Quang Ho at the Art Students League of Denver. Her love for light, color, and the natural world informed every brushstroke.
She was a devoted teacher, mentor, and community builder—sharing her time generously through classes, critiques, and creative gatherings.
Legacy & Scholarship
To honor her enduring impact, a scholarship has been established in Patricia’s name. Proceeds from this exhibition will support aspiring painters, ensuring that her passion for creativity, education, and beauty lives on.
“Never knowingly leave anything wrong on your canvas.”
