From her secret bunker studio in the north end of Virginia Beach, Daniella conjures art that lingers in the space between beauty and decay.
Haunted by the supernatural and inspired by the quiet elegance of vintage dresses and dark fairytales, her work whispers of shadowed gardens, unraveling secrets, and the strange magic of things left to rot.
Her art extends beyond painting to a striking collection of stark photographs that document the poetry of desolation.
From crumbling structures and abandoned desert hotels to eerie parades and solemn cemeteries, these images seem to capture the intangible beauty of forgotten places and the echoes of lives once lived.
For over twenty years, Daniella has painted in solitude, layering acrylic, gouache, pencils, chalk, ink & ephemera to create textured, ghostly works that feel like fragments of another world.
Her debut & first solo exhibit, “The Liminal Garden” invites viewers into her spectral vision—a twilight realm where beauty festers and shadows unfurl with a life of their own.
The Liminal Garden will transform the raw expanse of The Garage into an interactive fever dream; an enchanting & strange experience swirling with fairy lights, flowers, oddities and, of course, art.
