This in-person event is perfect for art enthusiasts of all levels, aged sixteen or older. Let's celebrate the arrival of autumn by unleashing our inner artists! Virginia Beach native, Carrie Lane, will guide you through an optional guided meditation and one approach to creating abstract art. She will provide prompts to help you release inhibitions and get in touch with your own creative forces.

Each 12" x 12" piece will be completely unique to the participant. All supplies are included, but feel free to bring anything you want! See you there!

WHO? Humans aged sixteen or older. People who CAN’T draw stick figures. People who CAN draw stick figures. Hermits. Couples.
WHAT? An abstract art class designed to encourage creative decision-making. Guided Meditation. Each participant will leave with a completely unique 12 inch by 12 inch abstract art piece. Local artist, Carrie Lane, will be leading participants through a step-by-step art experience, helping with color-mixing and mark-making ideas as needed.
