The transition from summer to school-year can be a reluctant shift, often times exciting, intimidating and difficult to navigate. This workshop will address & acknowledge the challenges of change by providing processing and coping skills that assist with these shifts. We will discuss new friendships, different learning styles, managing time & adjusting to a new environment. Your child will learn about the normalcy of change & life transitions while applying daily coping skills within their everyday environment. Each age group will practice artistic therapeutic activities best suited for their developmental stage. This workshop is led by Artist & Educator, Monica Turley + Professional Counselor & Registered Art Therapist Whitley Richards.
