SUMMER SERIES: WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By registering for and participating in the Summer Series outdoor watercolor workshops hosted by The Garage VB and The Creative Well Arts Foundation, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation

I understand that this event involves hiking, walking on uneven terrain, exposure to natural elements, and outdoor painting. I am voluntarily participating and assume full responsibility for my actions and belongings during the session.

2. Assumption of Risk

I understand that outdoor activities carry certain inherent risks including, but not limited to: slips, trips, falls, insect bites, allergic reactions, dehydration, sun exposure, and injury from equipment or surroundings. I accept these risks and participate at my own discretion.

3. Medical Conditions

I affirm that I am in good health and physically able to participate. I agree to notify the organizers of any medical concerns, allergies, or conditions that may affect my participation.

4. Emergency Medical Assistance

In the case of an emergency, I authorize the event organizers to provide or seek appropriate medical treatment. I understand that the organizers are not medical professionals and are not responsible for providing care beyond basic first aid.

5. Release of Liability

I release and hold harmless The Garage VB, The Creative Well Arts Foundation, their directors, instructors, assistants, volunteers, and any affiliated entities from all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action related to injury, loss, or damage arising from my participation in this event.

6. Photo Release (Optional)

I grant permission for photos or videos taken during the session to be used for promotional or educational purposes. I understand that I may opt out by emailing the organizers in advance.

7. Acknowledgment

I have read and understood this waiver. I am at least 18 years old and legally competent to agree to its terms. My agreement is confirmed by checking the box during registration.
