En Plein Air: Summer Series
Reconnect to nature through watercolor, movement, and mindfulness.
Join us for a guided hike through the landscape of Virginia Beach to a secluded space where nature becomes your studio. A space to recalibrate and reconnect.
No art experience needed—just curiosity and a love of the outdoors.
What to expect
Each day offers two class times:
8:00 a.m. for cool, quiet mornings
5:30 p.m. for golden hour light
Warm Welcome & Gathering
Begin your experience with a warm welcome. Enjoy a warm cup of tea or coffee or refreshing iced functional water and load up your thoughtfully prepared supply sack. Everything you need is ready to go.
Guided Nature Walk
We'll take a mindful walk to our painting location. Use this time to connect with fellow participants or simply immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and sensations of your surroundings.
Settle In & Begin
Upon arrival, find your perfect spot to set up. After a short instruction, we'll invite you to take a few moments to journal, sketch or observe before beginning your watercolor work.
Return Walk & Reflection
Following our painting session, we'll gather and enjoy a peaceful closing walk together carrying our artwork and a deeper connection to nature.
